For a fourth-grader, the clarinet
is a heavy, clumsy instrument that takes time getting used to. For the
pro musician, no matter how careful you are with your clarinet,
accidents happen. Fortunately, unless it's been run over by a truck and
shattered into pieces, the clarinet can usually be repaired.

Clarinet Play Condition

Play Condition -
Check pads, key corks, tenon corks, springs, screws, rods, and fit of
tenons. Bent keys are straightened and key corks, felts, key silencers
are replaced where necessary. Mechanisms are oiled. Each key is
leveled, adjusted and regulated. Clarinet is play tested on completion.
