Keep your instrument in good playing condition by having it checked over
once or twice a year or at the first sign of trouble. Simple, inexpensive,
and regular maintenance will prevent costly repairs later on.

it up to our high standards. We'll also show you how you can help maintain
your instrument in top playing condition.

Estimates are free, loaners are available at no extra charge, and prices
are reasonable. Play conditions are usually completed in 2 to 4 working days.

Play Condition

Check every pad, key cork, spring, screw, rod, and fit of tenons. Bent keys
are straightened. Necessary key corks, felts, key silencers and Teflon or
plastic tubing are replaced. Mechanisms are oiled. Each key is leveled, readjusted
and regulated. Instrument is play tested on completion. Includes cleaning
of bocal and case. Pad replacement including labor is an additional $8 to
$15 per pad depending on type of pad. Tenon corks are additional.

Repad

Instrument is disassembled and cleaned. Keys are leveled, straightened, and
swedged, removing play and wobble, and refit between the posts. All pads are
replaced. Key corks, tenon/neck corks, felts and springs are replaced as necessary.
Instrument is reassembled, lubricated, regulated, adjusted and thoroughly
play tested. Instrument will play as good or better than new.

Mechanical Overhaul

Instrument is disassembled; posts and keys are buffed to a high luster. Instrument
is cleaned. Keys are leveled, straightened, and swedged, removing play and
wobble, and refit between the posts. All pads, key corks, tenon/neck corks,
and felts are replaced. Springs replaced as necessary. Instrument is reassembled,
lubricated, regulated, adjusted and thoroughly play tested. Instrument will
look and play as good or better than new.
